An inauspicious time for clandestine love affairs, or so it would seem. According to the latest <a href=\"https:\/\/en.gleeden.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Gleeden<\/a> study, the European leader in extra-marital dating with more than 3.8 million members, unfaithful people are far from putting their extramarital relationship on the back burner during the holidays.<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"cellphones-an-unfaithful-persons-best-ally-at-christmas\"><span style=\"color: #714a69;\"><strong>Cellphones &#8211; an unfaithful person&#8217;s best ally at Christmas<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Nearly 10,000 Gleeden members were surveyed* in order to better understand the relationship between unfaithful people and their lover during the Christmas and New Year holidays. The numbers speak for themselves: <strong>78%<\/strong> members interviewed admit <strong>to keeping in touch with their lover over the Christmas period<\/strong>. Almost three-quarters of them use their cellphone to keep their extramarital relationship alive during the holidays: <strong>47% prefer direct calls<\/strong> and texts while <strong>26%<\/strong> of them use the more discreet <strong>Gleeden app<\/strong>, to avoid being caught and spoiling the party. Finally, almost a quarter of the unfaithful interviewed (21%) said they pretend to be buying a last-minute gift to go and meet their lover!<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"lovers-just-as-spoiled-as-spouses-at-christmas\"><span style=\"color: #714a69;\"><strong>Lovers &#8211; just as spoiled as spouses at Christmas<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">And if these end-of-year holidays are an opportunity to spend time with family, for the unfaithful they also provide the opportunity to show their love to their unofficial partner! In fact, <strong>82%<\/strong> of Gleeden members interviewed <strong>give their lover a Christmas present<\/strong>. And the unfaithful seem to be particularly generous: nearly half of the men surveyed have a budget of more than 200 euros to spend on a gift for their mistress (46%) with a majority of 41% of women surveyed returning this generosity. <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Gifts yes, but not just any old trinket! Gleeden interviewed its members to compile a list of the <strong>top 3 gifts<\/strong> most often given by unfaithful people at Christmas. And these gentlemen seem to want to enhance their paramour&#8217;s sensuality and femininity, with <strong>jewellery<\/strong> being the most popular gift. In its latest study, <strong><a style=\"color: #b581ab; font-weight: bold;\" href=\"https:\/\/pressroom.gleeden.com\/en\/unfaithful-people-wear-chanel-especially-after-christmas\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Gleeden drew up a list of the top 5 most popular pieces of jewellery that unfaithful men give their lovers<\/a><\/strong>; and the least we can say is that they know how to be generous! <strong>Lingerie<\/strong> takes second place on Gleeden&#8217;s list of most popular gifts given to lovers. Finally, <strong>sex toys<\/strong> take third place in this top 3. There is no doubt that these gentlemen know how to focus on fun, even at Christmas!<br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Women<\/strong>, on the other hand, attach particular importance to the precious time they spend with their lover. The Christmas gift most often given by these ladies is a <strong>night in a beautiful hotel<\/strong>. The second most popular gift is a spa day for two. Finally, cologne comes last on this list of the top 3 gifts most often given by unfaithful women to their lover.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">*<em>Gleeden.com online survey conducted from 1 to 8 December among 5,123 male and 4,776 female European members of the site.
